The Crew Lead Electrician is responsible for coordinating residential installs of each system efficiently, in a timely and in a quality manner
- Responsible for the supervision of the entire installation project
- Responsible for implementation and supervision of safety on the job
- Complete installation on various roof types as well as ground mounts
- Responsible for supervising quality and efficiency of work performed on site
- Drive Company vehicle to and from jobs safely
- Responsible for the truck tools and material inventory
- Responsible for supervision of fixing and troubleshooting project
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the job site and protection of the customers property
- May perform required travel for extended periods at a time
- Lead efforts for safe working practices for the Freedom Forever installation team
- Assemble all components of a residential solar system
- Ensure that the work is performed in a neat and workmanlike manner and compliant with all State and local codes and standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system components to resolve electrical issues
- Interface with branch leadership to ensure compliance with electrician/labor ratios and continuing education requirements
- Follow OSHA, NEC, AHJ and Utility requirements
- Work with crew and complete all portions of Photovoltaic systems installs (PV)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical components and system issues.
- Follow all safe work practices.
- Provide top-notch customer service throughout the installation
- Responsible for complete upload of photos and updating of job status in the company database when work is complete
- Strong knowledge and experience of conduit bending (EMT) ability to produce quality day after day.
- Perform other related duties, as assigned.
- Document work by taking pictures and completing work orders
- Ability to drive a vehicle during the normal course of business. Must maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check.
- Must possess and maintain a current and valid State Journeyman License/Electrician Certification for applicable state
- Minimum 3 years of electrical installation and repair experience
- Working knowledge of current NEC codes
- Must have working knowledge and experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels
- Ability to effectively manage work to achieve required timelines
- Must be experienced with all required hand and power tools associated with the electrical trade
- Strong interpersonal/human relations skills

- Ability to read and interpret single and three line drawings
- Ability to work safely in a branch/warehouse
- Ability to operate office equipment including computers and determine accuracy of work
