This role will be responsible for leading the corporate credit application processing team that is responsible for establishing credit limits to new and existing customers. This position will be a working manager role where the successful candidate participates in the daily activities as well as managing the members of the team. The Credit Manager is responsible for compliance of policies and procedures governing the credit functions of the Division, protecting the Division's assets, and leading a team of professional credit representatives.

- Act as the public representative of credit to the Sales team, to the customer base, and to the internal Credit teams.
- Successfully utilize communication skills to manage daily transaction processing, and the customer service processes, and to coordinate both with the Sales team (field Sales and Sales leadership) and with the Division Credit Managers.
- Teach and enhance the core competencies of assigning credit limits and ensuring the team’s performance enhances our customer’s experience
- A continued focus on process improvement to drive increased efficiency and customer satisfaction will be essential to success.
- Lead a team of credit representatives and maintain a high-performance culture focused on accuracy, completeness and efficiency.
- Effectively partner and hold accountability to Finance and Sales leadership for application processing turn times and for helping to minimize credit losses.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
- Ten-plus years of experience managing credit, including responsibility for the credit application process with experience managing a team of professionals.
- Excellent communication and people management skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Build strong relationships throughout the organization including senior leaders.
- Demonstrate ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
- Must be able to effectively manage changes and support impacted areas of the business.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.
- Prior collections and credit skills and experience are essential.
- Prior experience with the JD Edwards ERP system and HighRadius credit and collection management system is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to multi-task and lead the team to produce accurate and timely results.
- Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and manage competing demands.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of internal and external customers.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
