Primary Purpose:
Incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the Company's customer accounts receivable are protected and collected through an aggressive process of application and deposit collections, timely analysis, monitoring and follow—up on delinquent accounts. Reach out to customers via outbound calls and take incoming calls to collect a debt for the department. Maintains a good corporate image by ensuring that customers are professionally and courteously served,
Primary Duties:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
•Initiates standardized written/ verbal responses to customers on routine credit or collection matters.
•Secures credit and financial reports and assists in the determination of credit worthiness of customers/ applicants.
•Research account billing activities and assists in the analysis for customer/company requirements.
•Negotiates payment terms with customer and monitors accounts for compliance.
•Maintains and controls documentation and records in the support of credit/collection activities.
•Prepares documentation for referral of accounts to either internal or external collection functions.
•Performs research and investigative activities necessary to detennine billing responsibility.
•Prepares and initiates transactions for CM/ISU or other database management systems.
•Performs routine deposits and applicant processing functions including determination of deposit amounts, transfer of payments to deposits, processing, and validation of applications.
•Prepares reports as designated by management (i.e., daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
•Basic knowledge and understanding of credit and collection practices and regulations,
•Basic knowledge and understanding of the Credit Department's credit and collection functions.
•Knowledge and understanding of Customer Information System or other database management systems and Corporate Policies and Procedures.
•Ability to effectively communicate (i.e., telephonically, verbally or in writing).
•Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations.
•Ability to analyze and interpret data.
•Ability to use office equipment (i.e., data terminals, personal computers, microfiche readers, CRTs, calculators.)
•Ability to read, write and speak English effectively.
•High school education or equivalent work experience is required.
•Must have 24 months in position to be considered for Credit Analyst A
•Must successfully pass a drug screening test.

•Hourly rates will be paid in accordance with terms of the candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience or collective bargaining agreement: $31.21/Hr.
