We are seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Corporate Trainer to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that enhance the skills, safety, and productivity of our manufacturing workforce. The Corporate Trainer will partner with HR, leaders, supervisors, and employees to ensure training aligns with business goals, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
This position is in office, M-F. Hours can be 7:30am-4:30pm or 8am-5pm.
This position will report to the Human Resources Department and collaborate daily with HR, Operations, and Safety.
- Develop and deliver training programs for employees at all levels, including onboarding, technical skills, safety compliance, quality standards, and leadership development.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and recommend learning solutions.
- Design training materials such as manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, and hands-on workshops tailored to manufacturing environments.
- Facilitate OSHA and regulatory compliance training, ensuring workforce readiness and adherence to safety standards.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback surveys, and performance metrics; adjust programs as needed.
- Assist in maintaining training records, certifications, and compliance documentation in accordance with company and legal requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with managers and supervisors to provide coaching and reinforcement of key skills on the production floor.
- Stay current with industry trends, manufacturing technologies, and adult learning best practices.
- Assist with HR initiatives as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.- 3+ years of experience in corporate training, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and facilitation techniques.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt training methods for diverse learning styles and varying levels of technical expertise.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems (LMS).
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with OSHA, ISO, and other industry compliance standards.
- Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., CPLP, ATD, or equivalent).
- Combination of office, classroom, and production floor/high heat environments.
- Requires occasional travel between company sites or to external training events.
