Job Description Coterra is hiring a Corporate Measurement Analyst in Houston, Texas Job Summary
As a
Corporate Measurement Analyst at Coterra,you will report to the Corporate Measurement Manager in our Houston office. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on a collaborative approach to measurement, data management, and process improvement. You will also collaborate with Business Unit teams, field personnel, and production accountants to ensure volume integrity. This position is located on site at our Houston, Texas headquarters.
Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Run FLOWCAL exception resolver daily and work to resolve identified exceptions weekly
- Utilize historical data and analytical experience to estimate production data that cannot be recovered
- Maintains and evaluates facility balancing on a weekly/monthly basis
- Works closely with the production data management team members to ensure production data across the asset is consistent and accurate
- Imports and evaluate meter proving, meter calibration, and liquid and gas analyses to ensure data quality and conformance with contractual obligations
- Completes month end close processes
- Creates and tracks field measurement issues
- Publish clear, concise, and timely communication on measurement and product validation activities
- Capable of multi-tasking numerous projects and working within deadlines
- Computer Skills: Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products and intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills required
- Extensive FLOWCAL experience and in use of FLOWCAL products
- database exp/ SQL exp, allocation experience
- Experience with Spotfire
- Oil and gas experience in production operations or measurement fields
- Understanding of Gas and Liquid Measurement
- Must reside within a reasonable commute to our Houston office, no hybrid or remote work, no relocation
- Minimum: High school degree or equivalent
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Math, Accounting, Computer Science, IT, or Finance.
- Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience, five (5) years preferred
- Percent of Travel Required: 10% Travel may be required for mandatory meetings, training, and visits to field locations.
