Corporate Analysis and Strategy Analyst

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Primarily responsible for upstream analysis (type-curve modeling, inventory estimates, E&P economic outlook, etc.), financial modeling for commercial transactions, business unit financial statement analysis, commercial strategy, commercial/operational optimization and competitor analysis

- Assist in the execution of commercial transactions by interfacing with senior management, commercial team, engineering team and operations team

- Assist in volume forecasting for all Permian Basin business units

- Development of executive management presentations including those given to Board of Directors

- Provide executive management with industry research and competitive analysis related to market trends, competitive landscape and business unit financial performance

- Aid in development of responses to customer requests for proposals

- Assist Permian business units with financial modeling and negotiation of commercial contracts

- Perform scenario modeling for infrastructure optimization and expansion

- Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFCATIONS:

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree

- Minimum of 2 years of experience via investment banking, management consulting, private equity or industry

- Demonstrated quantitative skills with proficiency developing financial models and analyzing financial statements

- Demonstrated proficiency with utilization of the Enverus platform portfolio (Prism, DrillingInfo, Intelligence, Market Research, etc.

- Developed project management skills

- Strong business acumen and keen interest in the energy industry

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- High level of professionalism, maturity and attention to detail

- Self-starter with ability to handle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Enverus

- Regular and reliable attendance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or other relevant discipline

- Experience in the energy industry, preferably with midstream exposure

- Exposure to M&A transactions
