About Island Gold District: Alamos Gold’s Island Gold District will become one of the largest and lowest-cost gold mines in Canada. With the two mines within the district, Island Gold and Magino employ over 900 team members who work in the underground and open pit operations and are located in northern Ontario, just east of the town of Dubreuilville, 83 kilometres northeast of Wawa. Primary Responsibilities:

+ Ensuring core is properly labeled, stored, and transported. + Identifying potential errors in block and core box labeling. + Preparing core samples for geological logging. + Assisting geologists by marking meter intervals and orientation lines. + Recording Rock Quality Designation (RQD) and other geological measurements. + Preparing samples for lab submission, ensuring accuracy in labeling and handling. + Dispatching samples to labs and tracking pulp returns. + Ensuring core processing equipment is maintained and in good working condition.

+ Participating in safety meetings and inspections. + Identifying and reporting potential hazards in the workplace. Actively participating in regular safety inspections and safety meetings. + Maintaining health, safety, statutory, regulatory, and licensing standards, and principles, both within own workplace and through the identification of potential risks throughout AGI. + Other duties as assigned.
