Join Our Team as an Equipment Operator!

Are you ready to make an impact in the construction and maintenance of transmission lines and substations? Brazos Electric Power Cooperative is looking for a dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team and take on an exciting and dynamic role in ensuring the smooth operation of Right-of-Way (R.O.W.) clearing and construction projects.

What You'll Do:

- Operate Heavy Equipment: Manage trucks, R.O.W. clearing machines, tractors, and more!

- Clear and Maintain R.O.W.: Take charge of clearing pathways, hauling materials, and even working with aerial devices to trim trees in hard-to-reach areas.

- Support Construction Crews: Assist in building and maintaining transmission lines and substations, while helping transport and install essential equipment like mobile substation trailers and snake fences.

- Care for Equipment: Perform regular checks and maintenance on vehicles and machinery to ensure safe, efficient operations.

What You’ll Bring:

- Experience & Skills:

- A high school diploma or equivalent.

- A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) and the required endorsements.

- At least 1 year of relevant experience operating heavy equipment.

- Must reside within a 30-minute response time to our headquarters in Waco, TX
