Responsibilities
•Visit well daily (unless conditions prevent safe access)
•Assure that wellheads and auxiliary equipment are properly maintained and working efficiently
•Gauge/accurately measure and report oil, gas & water production from wells in route
•Call in oil hauler as soon as load is ready to sell
•Log accurate data in production sheets, test pressure gauges whenever you suspect they are not functioning properly
•Operate engines and pumps according to production schedules
•Grease pumping unit every other month. Must grease the saddle bearing, tail bearing and wrist pins, take note of any squeaking and ensure that you report to responsible supervisor
•Work any reject oil in tanks to get them sellable.
•Work with chemical company to Monitor chemical levels (call in refills when needed) and ensure proper volume application
•Perform necessary repairs to production equipment to the extent you are able to do so
•Email daily Pumper Reports
•Maintain a clean work area around wellheads and work areas, keeping wellhead free of grime and dusty buildup
•Use road drag as appropriate to keep road useable and minimize scraper calls
•Keep all equipment off of the ground and out of mud – all pipe, tubing, rods, valves, etc.
Qualifications
•Must live in or near Vernal
•Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
•Able to handle exposure to extreme weather conditions and areas where hazardous chemicals are present
•Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, kneel, be able to work in tight spaces.
•Ability to successfully complete a post-offer/pre-employment drug screen, background check, physical, and to be able to meet all physical requirements of the job
