We are seeking a Contract Fluid Dispatcher for one of our valued clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating Fluid Management personnel and equipment both on lease and off-site, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations while meeting client stakeholder requirements.
- Dispatch resources as requested by Operations, Maintenance, Well Delivery, CMT, and other stakeholders.
- Receive, review, and validate vendor tickets for accuracy (work details, hours, rates, PO/WO/cost center) before sign-off.
- Determine outbound waste stream categories and create electronic WiQ waste manifests.
- Apply knowledge of equipment types and parameters to minimize downtime and standby charges.
- Audit vendor ticket processing and ensure accurate fluid volume data entry.
- Coordinate waste disposal to approved facilities, ensuring compliance and efficient handling.
- Track equipment movement in and out of plants via Sales Force application.
- Manage weigh scale software and scale cards, where applicable.
- Communicate and escalate non-compliance with AER Directives (e.g., spills).
- Respond to site requests and create work orders/service appointments in Sales Force.
- Provide vendor ticket data to the PVR team.
- Initiate Intelex entries (HIDs, BBOs, incidents).
- Attend vendor toolbox talks and chair monthly safety/huddle meetings.
- Research and book Tier 2/3 contractors when Tier 1 vendors are unavailable (as directed).
- Generate daily reports (NPT, Waste Disposal, SR, etc.).
- Provide coordinator updates.
- Collaborate with advisors.
- Escalate issues per FMT processes.
- 2–5 years of dispatching experience (preferably oilfield trucking).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams).
- Adobe Acrobat.
- SAP Business Client.
- Strong knowledge of oilfield trucking, fluid, and waste handling.
- Ability to execute responsibilities in line with Cenovus’s Safety Commitments.
