Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by implementing and overseeing safety programs, conducting training sessions, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. This role is crucial in promoting a culture of safety within the organization, particularly in construction settings.

Responsibilities

•

Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA regulations and NEC standards.

•

Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

•

Facilitate safety training programs for employees on topics such as occupational health, risk management, and emergency response procedures.

•

Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety practices into construction management processes.

•

Monitor workers' compensation claims and assist in the investigation of incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences.

•

Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions for compliance management purposes.

•

Serve as a liaison between the organization and regulatory agencies regarding safety compliance matters.

•

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to environmental health and safety (EHS).

Qualifications

•

Background in Occupational Health & Safety is preferred.

•

Proven experience in a safety coordinator or similar role within the construction industry.

•

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, NEC standards, and risk management principles.

•

Excellent communication skills with the ability to train employees at all levels effectively.

•

Strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.

•

Ability to work collaboratively with various teams while maintaining a focus on safety objectives.
