The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing construction projects from planning to completion. This role requires a self-starter with strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for building efficiently and safely. The Construction Manager will coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, field crews, and office staff to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage day-to-day job site operations for all active construction projects
•Schedule and supervise subcontractors, crews, deliveries, and inspections
•Read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications
•Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed
•Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and job site protocols
•Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely material orders and deliveries
•Track and report job costs, progress updates, and potential issues to leadership
•Work closely with internal staff on job costing, permits, change orders, and project documentation
•Conduct quality control checks and final inspections
•Address client concerns and communicate project timelines clearly and professionally
•Maintain organized records, daily logs, and documentation for each job site
Qualifications:
•5+ years of experience in construction management or a related field
•Proven track record of managing multiple commercial projects
•Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety standards
•Ability to read blueprints and project documents
•Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
•Comfortable using project management software and tools
•Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
•OSHA certification a plus
