Construction & Maintenance Tech/Sr. Construction & Maintenance Tech
This position will be open to internal and external applicants and will close on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.
The Construction & Maintenance Technician position pays between $42,400 to $53,000, and the Senior Construction & Maintenance Technician position pays between $48,000 and $60,000. Placement in any level is based on skills, experience and education of the successful candidate.
The successful candidate muyst live within 30 minutes of the Alamogordo Service Center.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Construction and/or field environment. May be required to work overtime and/or be on-call. Will be exposed year-round to outside weather conditions. Work often involves exposure to extreme heat and cold, uneven terrain, high-pressure natural gas, blowing gas, and gas fumes. Personal protective equipment required, including but not limited to, safety glasses, puncture resistance boots, hard hat, respirator, and SCBA. Regularly required to stand and walk with the ability to bend, twist, balance, and climb frequently. Occasionally sit to drive vehicles and operate heavy equipment. Manual dexterity is required to lift, carry and/or maneuver up to 80 pounds by reaching, handling, kneeling, and/or crouching.
