INTRODUCTION: Human Resources will screen applications and supplemental questionnaires. Candidates meeting the eligibility requirements will be forwarded to the hiring department for further review. The ideal candidate will have a background in the Engineering/Construction Industry through work experience or pursuing an engineering degree and have ability to work cohesively in a team-oriented environment.

GENERAL PURPOSE: May assist the construction management staff with day-to-day construction processes, procedures, and correspondence utilizing company PMIS applications and observe as well as document construction field staff performing inspection and testing activities.

ELIGIBILITY/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Engineering/Construction or a closely related field

Current enrollment with a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester (undergraduate level) or 3 credit hours per semester (graduate level)

Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher

Available to work up to 25 hours weekly

A valid Nevada driver’s license

Legal right to work in the US, including authorization to work off-campus
