Construction Foreman

GMS is Looking to hire a Construction Foreman for a Job in Carlsbad New Mexico.

Pay will depend on experience, but will fall in the advertised range.

Construction Foreman Position Overview

- Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of the construction site environment is essential.

- Previous experience is required; a high school diploma is preferred.

- Ability to read blueprints effectively and translate them into actionable plans is necessary. -

- Candidates must pass a background check and have a clean driving record.

- At least 4 years of experience in the building trades is required.

- Responsibilities include preparing work schedules and assignments for direct staff.

- Must communicate and enforce safety procedures and site rules.

- Develop a schedule and a cost-effective plan for the completion of assigned projects.

- Collaborate with other staff members to create pre-construction estimates and budgets for materials and labor.

- Coordinate and schedule work activities of tradespeople, professionals, and laborers, ensuring effective communication with the project foreperson to deliver instructions and project assignments as needed.
