P.J. Hoerr, Inc. - one of Central Illinois’ leading General Contractors is searching for a full-time Administrative Assistant to work in our estimating department. This position will aid our estimating department in a variety of tasks required to develop cost estimates, budgets and bids for commercial construction projects.
· Candidates must have at least a high school diploma, some college preferred.
· Experience working in the construction industry is a plus.
· Have good phone and general communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
· Assist in sending invitations to bid for projects.
· Coordinate insurance and bonding requirements for projects.
· Distribute subcontractor emailed bids to estimators for bid account.
