Seeking experienced technicians to provide IT operational support in areas within IT Platform Services and for the 2025 Windows 11 Lifecycle Support, as well as daily operational duties.
(days are flexible)
Deliverables include, but are not limited to:
•Work on-site at office locations
•Occasionally drive personal vehicle between office locations
•Provide Technology Support for upcoming Windows 11 Lifecycle
•Perform computer user data and software inventory services
•Perform lifecycle replacement computer services
•Provide computer technical hardware & software assistance
•Perform user, hardware, software inventory services
•Perform conference room support services
•Perform committee and board meeting support
•Complete assigned tasks in Service Now Ticketing System
•Windows 11 Lifecycle support including deployments, user assistance, hardware inventory support Mandatory Requirements
•Contractor must deliver a fully functional and operationalized solution.
•The selected candidates must be physically able to perform the duties of the position and MAY be required to pass a medical examination and Fitness for Duty screening.
•The selected candidate(s) must be available to work on site at office locations. Some remote work may be available during the contract.
Technical Requirements
•Work Delivery – Ability to work with minimal direction, yet also work in a team environment
•Physical Duties – Ability to lift up to 50lbs
•Report to Supervisor, IT Platform Services
•Install, maintain, diagnose, and prepare computer hardware, printers, plotters, and related peripheral equipment with Microsoft software products in a networked environment.
•Diagnose, research and resolve computer issues
•Provide technical support for Committee and Board Meetings
•OS & Computer Hardware Lifecycle Replacement Experience
Desirable Qualifications
CompTIA Technician
Assumptions It is expected that the contractor will work onsite at campuses 20-40 hours per week up to June 30, 2025, then 20 hours per week starting July 1, 2025.
Days worked each week is flexible.
The contractors(s) will be responsible for:
•Maintaining client support during business hours.
•Ensuring ServiceNow assigned tickets to the contractor are processed and completed.
In addition, the following will be assumed:
•Training – Staff will train the initial start-up contractor(s) on the required job functions.
•Contractor Training – Provide training to contract staff that will be working on support contact. Training is to be provided in a train-the-trainer approach accompanied by full documentation of all processes and procedures of the support contract.
