Responsible for managing the relationship between AEP and transmission distribution service providers (TDSP) and an assigned group of competitive retailers. Ensure that the competitive retailers are punctual in paying AEP for TDSP services rendered to the customer retailers end-use customers and that all appropriate revenue is collected. Administer operating agreements between AEP companies and competitive retailers so that all parties perform within compliance. Coordinate and track resolution of market order issues.
1) Serve as the primary point of contact between the TDSP and competitive retailers in Texas.
2) Develop and close working relationship and network with other TSDP departments in order to be efficient and effective at issue resolution.
3) Identify and coordinate resolution to system issues, bother internally and externally, which adversely affect market performance.
4) Oversee credit and collection activities with assigned competitive retailers.
5) Ensure resolution to billing and service orders which negatively impact AEP's revenue stream.
6) Participate in market meetings and workshops to stay abreast of and help bring resolution to various market issues.
A four year Bachelor's degree, preferably recommended in communication, engineering, engineering technology, or business administration.
Work Experience requirement listed below: Minimum of 5 years customer relations experience in the electric utility industry. Thorough understanding of the market structure, TDSP business unit, and AEP customer information systems is required.
Professional Engineering license preferred. Working knowledge of the ERCOT Portal, MDCH, and Texas set protocols preferred.
