Greylock Energy is seeking a Communications Specialist to work at our corporate headquarters in our Charleston, West Virginia office. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
•Strong writing and copyediting skills.
•Experience managing social media.
•Experience designing and/or maintaining websites (with Wix or a similar platform).
•Experience in media relations.
•Experience in digital marketing (Google Ads, email marketing platforms, etc.).

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to effectively perform the following duties; other duties may be assigned.
•Create, format, and proof presentation materials.
•Design marketing and informational materials, both print and electronic.
•Manage promotional materials inventory.
•Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications.
•Build and manage corporate websites.
•Manage the company’s social media presence.
•Work with manager and business units to determine event budgets and manage expenses within budgets.
•Build and manage relationships with media outlets.
•Research media coverage and industry trends.
•Represent the company with industry groups.
QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s degree is required; a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field is strongly preferred.
•2-4 years’ experience in a communications role (i.e. agency, corporate, public entity, or non-profit) is strongly preferred.
•Familiarity with design programs (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Canva) is strongly preferred.
