What does a Communications Coordinator do for us?
The Communications Coordinator supports the company’s digital content, customer education initiatives, and employee communications to enhance internal and external understanding, engagement, and satisfaction. This role collaborates closely with Corporate Communications staff, leaders, and subject matter experts to coordinate clear, accessible, and engaging materials that help customers and employees make informed decisions and better understand the complexities of our business. In addition to coordinating processes that keep the department’s digital content and communication channels running smoothly, the Communications Coordinator creates educational and promotional content across platforms such as the website, email campaigns, social media, and event materials. Under minimal supervision, they provide specialized communications and content development support for one or more departments or subject areas.

- Proficiency in digital tools such as content management systems, email platforms, and social media editing tools
- Translate complex topics into easy-to-understand content for diverse audiences
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision
- Understand and apply basic mathematical calculations and concepts involving fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
- Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university in communications, marketing, or related field
- An equivalent combination of appropriate training and experience
- Bachelor's degree in communications or related field
- 3 years of experience in digital content development
- An equivalent combination of formal education and work experience
- 3 years of experience creating digital content or customer-facing digital education materials or equivalent combination of formal education and work experience
- 3 years of company experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position requires working at a desk/computer for extended periods of time. It requires the use of office equipment, fine motor skills including typing on the computer, dialing phones, filing paper, and working in close proximity to other people.
