Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced ROOFING Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs and preparing detailed estimates for construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor requirements. The Estimator will work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure that all estimates are comprehensive and competitive.

Duties

•

Analyze blueprints and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for COMMERCIAL ROOFING projects.

•

Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimating.

•

Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data relevant to the estimation process.

•

Utilize construction estimating software to create detailed estimates that include labor, materials, and overhead costs.

•

Prepare bid proposals and present them to clients in a clear and professional manner.

•

Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing information.

•

Monitor project costs during the construction phase and provide updates as necessary.

•

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards on construction sites.

Skills

•

Proficient in ROOFING estimating techniques and methodologies.

•

Strong knowledge of construction processes, including tile laying, stucco application, roofing, metal stud framing, and welding.

•

Familiarity with hand tools and heavy lifting requirements on construction sites.

•

Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost assessments.

•

Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and subcontractors.

•

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

•

Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
