Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced New Construction Residential Roofing Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in roofing estimating and have a comprehensive understanding of roofing systems. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate project estimates, which will contribute to the successful execution of residential roofing projects.
Duties
•
Prepare detailed cost estimates for new residential roofing projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs.
•
Analyze blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements and specifications.
•
Utilize construction estimating software to create precise bids and proposals.
•
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and best practices in roofing.
•
Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial reports as needed.
Requirements
•
Proven experience in construction estimating, specifically within the roofing sector.
•
Strong skills in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
•
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required on job sites.
•
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
