Commercial Marketing Representative reports to Supervisor. Implement marketing programs/services related to commercial customers in order to increase sales/revenues of electricity, gas and water; provide technical support, assist customers in energy-related decisions, and serve as single point of contact between MLGW's commercial and industrial customers and the Division for all matters. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Inspect buildings and make appropriate energy management recommendations utilizing technical manuals/computer software and diagnostic equipment. Assist customers in making energy-related decisions regarding types of fuel sources, availability, costs, etc. Solve customer problems and answer inquiries/complaints regarding rates, policies and services. Develop/maintain computer database on commercial customers; provide other services as required. Prepare and process applications/contracts for new services; analyze customer energy consumption and match to MLGW's best rate. Stay abreast of technological advances in energy systems; determine/ recommend improvement programs/projects such as load building/peak reduction. Operate Division vehicle Perform other duties as directed.
Bachelor's degree in business or engineering or related degree.

Knowledge of MLGW policies/practices dealing with commercial customers and factors that affect rates, billing demand and distribution systems preferred. Must have an occupationally significant combination of demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making abilities; leadership; good communication (verbal/ written); customer relations and resource management skills; integrity; abilities to plan, formulate and execute policies and programs; skills in teamwork and promoting safe work practices.
