Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical projects and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards. - Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project scheduling and documentation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to guide project execution.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Manage project budgets, providing estimates and tracking expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols on the construction site.
- Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical systems and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with other trades on-site to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within larger construction projects.
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on electrical projects.
- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and budgeting processes.
- Strong understanding of pipeline installation and maintenance practices within the electrical field.
- Experience using HeavyBid for project bidding processes is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous supervisory experience in a construction setting is essential, along with effective communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
