Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical projects and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in construction management and electrical systems, demonstrating proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. This role requires strong leadership abilities to manage teams effectively and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Duties

- Supervise and coordinate electrical construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.

- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project scheduling and documentation.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to guide project execution.

- Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.

- Manage project budgets, providing estimates and tracking expenses throughout the project lifecycle.

- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols on the construction site.

- Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.

- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical systems and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

- Collaborate with other trades on-site to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within larger construction projects.

Experience

- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on electrical projects.

- Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and budgeting processes.

- Strong understanding of pipeline installation and maintenance practices within the electrical field.

- Experience using HeavyBid for project bidding processes is preferred.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

- Previous supervisory experience in a construction setting is essential, along with effective communication skills to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and team members. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37.46 - $45.11 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
