Job Description: Combo Welder / Fabricator
Position Summary:
Weld House is looking for a highly skilled Combo Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This role requires a strong ability to fabricate from shop drawings with minimal supervision, perform top-tier TIG and MIG welds, and bring creativity and craftsmanship to every project.
What You’ll Do:

•Execute clean, aesthetic TIG and MIG welds on a range of materials from 16GA to ¾" with minimal setup time.
•Perform expert-level aluminum TIG welding, particularly on round tubing and sheet material.
•Work independently and efficiently with a focus on detail and craftsmanship.
What We’re Looking For:
•Minimum 5 years of experience in welding/fabrication, with the ability to prove your skills through an in-person weld test.
•Bring your welding hood and gloves — testing is required at the time of application.
•Proficiency in welding common materials, including:

•Must be able to read and understand complex blueprints and shop drawings.
•Should have all necessary layout tools (after hire) and a master-level understanding of drawing symbols, verbiage, and tolerances.

•Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of cutting equipment is required.

•Must understand proper welding sequence techniques to avoid warping, distortion, and heat damage — and how to correct these issues when they arise.
Work Setup & Jigging:
•Able to clamp, fixture, and prep jobs before welding begins.
•Familiarity with Bluco and Siegmund fixture tables is a plus.
Team Mindset:
•A positive, flexible, and can-do attitude is essential.
•You should be able to pivot between projects and collaborate well with the team.
