Position Summary
The Coil Tubing Relief Operator I is responsible for assuming the responsibilities of the Coil Tubing Operator I on an as needed basis; assembling, maintaining, running, and troubleshooting coil tubing equipment; assisting in the operations of the coil tubing division; and ensuring quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
Essential Job Functions
•Provide relief operation of the crew and equipment on an as needed basis.
•Safely operate fluid pump and nitrogen equipment.
•Perform basic maintenance, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting for coil tubing equipment.
•Assemble and prepare equipment for installation and service.
•Assist in the rigging up and down of equipment.
•Assist in completing required operations reports and communications.
Skills and Qualifications
•High school education or equivalent.
•Minimum 3 years of industry-related experience.
•Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
•Ability to work in extreme weather and physical conditions.
•Strong oral and written communication skills.
•Strong mechanical aptitude and basic knowledge of all tools and equipment utilized by the oil and gas industry.
•Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
•OSHA 10-Hour Part 1910 and 1926
•OSHA 30-Hour Part 1910 and 1926
•HAZWOPER 40HR certification
