Position Summary: The Coatings Operator is responsible for the loading, unloading, and preparation of parts for the automated powder coating paint line.

Coatings Operator LOADING Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Visual Inspection – Looking for slag, double punching, missing holes, imperfections in steel, etc. + OPM-034 Wheelabrator + Loading and Staging Area

Coatings Operator UNLOADING Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Touchup Edges, Hooks + Visual Inspection + Forklift PM’s + OPM-034 Wheelabrator + Loading and Staging Area

Coatings Operator Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of Coatings Operator, the employee is continually required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee is occasionally required to crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Coatings Operator Work Environment:

While performing the duties of Coatings Operator, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
