Co-op Student - IT Enterprise Architecture - May Summer 2025

The location for this position is our Downtown Dunsmuir Location.
•We are looking for team-oriented, 3rd or 4th year Co-op students who demonstrates strong communications,
interpersonal, organized and problem-solving skills.
•Working with IT Enterprise Architecture (EA) team will include:
•Gaining knowledge and experience with various IT enterprise architecture domains (eg, Business, Infrastructure, IT/OT
Cybersecurity, Data Analytics etc)
•Having the opportunity to experience what EA team does and responsible for from enterprise strategy, roadmap and
governance.
•Provide administrative and coordination support for the EA team. Governance meetings planning and minutes taking.
•Exposure to various architecture and task management platforms/tools (LeanIX, JIRA)
•Assist with creating and updating of strategy presentation materials
•Tasks will be assigned based on the needs of the department and strengths of the student.
What you bring
•To qualify as a candidate, individual's must be enrolled in the Co-op Program and have yet to graduate from a recognized
post-secondary institution in Canada.
•3rd of 4th year students studying computer science; with previous work experience are preferred.
•Strong interpersonal and communication (both English written and oral) skills and the ability to work efficiently,
independently and in a team environment.
•Strong analytical skills, combined with good judgement and ability to learn quickly.
•Strong in listening, planning, coordination and communication in professional manner
•Have experience using Microsoft M365 tools (eg, Outlook, Onenote, Teams, Word, Sharepoint)
•Experience with task management tools like JIRA would be an asset.
•Proficient and experience with producing professional presentation materials using MS Powerpoint, Excel, Visio etc.
What we offer
•As a condition of employment at BC Hydro, a background check clearance will be required.
•This position is for a four month work term with a strong potential to extend for one additional term.
•Students are expected to work at the job location for their co-op role and it is the student’s responsibility to relocate
themselves if necessary.
