Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Programmer & Setup Machinist to join our team. This role involves programming, setting up, and running CNC mills to manufacture production parts. The ideal candidate is proficient in Mastercam and/or HyperMill and has a strong background in milling.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Program CNC mills using Mastercam and/or HyperMill to machine prodction parts.
•
Set up and operate CNC mills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
•
Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings.
•
Select appropriate tooling and machining strategies for precision mold components.
•
Troubleshoot and optimize programs for efficiency and quality.
•
Inspect finished parts to meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
•
Collaborate with engineers and toolmakers to improve manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
•
Experience: Minimum 3 years as a CNC Programmer & Machinist.
•
Software: Proficiency in Mastercam and/or HyperMill.
•
Knowledge: Strong understanding of mold components, GD&T, and CNC milling techniques.
•
Skills: Ability to set up and adjust machines, select tooling, and perform quality checks.
•
Education: Technical degree or relevant certifications preferred, but experience is highly valued.
