A growing Central Connecticut ISO and ITAR certified Class A die house, with expanding metal stamping and CNC machining operations, is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Overtime may be required as needed to support production demands.
Position Overview:
The CNC Operator will be responsible for running CNC Lathes, Mills, or Wire EDM machines to produce high-quality precision components. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, the ability to perform basic inspections, and accurate documentation of all production activity.
- Operate CNC Lathe, Mill, or Wire EDM machines safely and efficiently.
- Perform part deburring and basic inspection to ensure quality standards are met.
- Complete all required production paperwork accurately and on time.
- Read and follow job travelers, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Support team efforts to meet production schedules and quality goals.
- Prior experience operating CNC Lathe, Mill, or Wire EDM equipment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job instructions.
- Basic knowledge of measurement tools and inspection procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work overtime as needed.
