CNC Lathe Machinist

Program (G Code), set-up and run various machine tools on a CNC mill and/or lathe machine

Ensure all components produced meet specifications using appropriate measuring equipment such as, but not limited to, micrometers, vernier, height gauges and bore gauges

Select suitable tools and cutters as required for the project

Work within very close tolerances to ensure product quality

Read blueprint drawings, job orders, tooling instructions, or standard charts to determine specification procedures

Perform routine machine maintenance

Load and indicate part to fixture. Safely and securely secure work piece into holding device

Position and secure tools and tool holders to tool heads

Monitor tool wear and change tools and inserts as needed

Work to avoid rejection and maintain safety and quality at all times

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines

Must be willing to work towards continuous improvement of output, quality and delivery

Must have at least three years in Haas control experience

Fanuc control experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
