Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer – Storage & Infrastructure (GCP Focus)

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Storage team. This role is focused on the design, development, and maintenance of secure, enterprise-grade cloud platforms and services—enabling safe and scalable use of public cloud offerings. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with infrastructure automation, cloud storage solutions, and infrastructure as code (IaC), especially within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities:

•

Design, develop, and maintain cloud platforms, services, and components to ensure secure and scalable use of public cloud infrastructure.

•

Provide technical leadership and ownership over components of larger cloud infrastructure products.

•

Support the creation and maintenance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, policies, and patterns related to:

•

Google Cloud NetApp Volumes (GCNV)

•

Google Cloud Storage (GCS) buckets

•

Persistent disks and related GCP storage solutions

•

Design, implement, and refactor infrastructure and tooling code, primarily in Go and Python.

•

Ensure systems and applications meet standards for high availability, integrity, security, reliability, and compliance.

•

Collaborate with cloud platform, security, and operations teams to ensure best practices are followed across environments.

Requirements:

•

8+ years of technical experience with cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.

•

3+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

•

1–2 years of operational experience specifically with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

•

5+ years of experience in roles such as Infrastructure Operations, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering.

•

5+ years of experience with development and scripting (e.g., Go, Python), containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), configuration management tools, and CI/CD pipelines.

•

Proven ability to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure in a complex enterprise environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00-$155,000.00 per year
