Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, with a focus on commercial spaces.
Duties
•
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
•
Conduct thorough commercial cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
•
Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or issues that need attention.
•
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition.
•
Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
Skills
•
Proven experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
•
Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous.
•
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
•
Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
•
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
•
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
