About This Job

Responsibilities

•

Operate and drive various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers.

•

Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently at designated locations.

•

Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while considering traffic conditions.

•

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.

•

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required documentation.

•

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status or any issues encountered on the road.

•

Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

•

Ensure the truck is clean and well-maintained at all times.

Qualifications

•

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.

•

Proven experience in truck driving, preferably with experience in route driving and delivery services.

•

Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is preferred.

•

Experience with end dump trailers and flatbed.

•

Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving.

•

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

•

Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

•

Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as needed during loading/unloading processes.
