About This Job

EthosEnergy is currently seeking a Blader Trainee for our Houston, TX facility. The Blader trainee will learn the trade of Steam blading a crossed multiple OEM's of Steam turbines. this help ensure a properly trained operators to perform the work required. this will range from incoming inspection and removal to installation, final pinning, and tenon peening. this will also drive down the cost of hiring contractors to perform the blading work in the long run.

Job Responsibilities

•

Perform incoming visual inspection of rotor

•

Verify all incoming data is complete before work begins

•

Become familiar with basic blade locking hardware and removal and installation procedures (T-root, Internal and external fir tree and straight axial entry) General Electric, Westinghouse and SDDT (Curved axial entry) FUJI, Mitsubishi and Westinghouse

•

Remove and install blades

•

Notify supervision of any defects in materials or workmanship

•

Keep a positive attitude toward safety; cleanliness, neatness, quantity and quality of work as well as respect for the comfort and safety of others

Required Skills / Knowledge

•

This is an entry level position

•

candidate must be able retain knowledge of the process being performed,

•

candidate must be able to work closely with others to gain the knowledge required to perform job tasks.

•

candidate must also be listen and follow the instruction of the trainer and ask questions when appropriate for understanding of the job task to be performed.

Education Requirements

•

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

•

Requires the ability to read and write and carry out instructions; this includes verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements

•

Be able to work long hours as required Able to lift 50 pounds
