Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all transportation regulations. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the freight. We mostly haul Frac Sand and Rig Matts and some general freight.

Duties

•

Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.

•

Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.

•

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.

•

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.

•

Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.

•

Assist with basic maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure.

•

Know, understand, and apply Federal Hours of Service regulations in driving and operating

•

Use Electronic Logging Device (ELD) for recording of Hours of Service as well as for Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR)

•

You will be required to sleep in your truck, hotels/camp jobs are not supplied

•

Shift work will be required

Qualitifications/Skills

•

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).

•

Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations.

•

Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment as needed for loading/unloading tasks.

•

Basic automotive repair skills for minor vehicle maintenance.

•

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.

•

Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

•

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

•

Class 1 Drivers license

•

Clean Commercial Driver's Abstract (CDA) 5 yrs

•

First Aid

•

H2S Alive

•

CSO (Common Safety Orientation)

•

TDG & WHMIS (in house)

•

Must be able to drive 18 speed
