We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated individual to join our team of seasoned professionals to meet customer commitments and rapidly growing business needs.
•Position: Driver / Operator
•Location: Grand Prairie and area (Alberta, Canada)
Reporting to the regional Operations Manager, Kathairos' Driver / Operators are responsible for the safe transportation of liquid nitrogen from local production and storage facilities to customer locations. Driver Operators will also operate a skid steer to load and unload microbulk liquid nitrogen tanks and deliver these tanks to customer locations.
Roles and Responsibilities – will include, but not be limited to the following:
•Safely deliver liquid nitrogen into perma-cyl tanks at customer locations located across Alberta and Northern BC.
•As required, support with delivery and commissioning of tanks, and telemetry units. Some technical troubleshooting may be required in the field, training will be provided.
•Report any issues relating to trucks equipment, perma-cyl tanks, site conditions, or anything out of the ordinary to support regional leader with proactive and appropriate response.
•Demonstrate positive attitude and good work ethic while treating co-workers and company assets with respect. Represent company professionally.
•Complete proper pre/post-trip inspections on truck and perform minor repairs (e.g. air leaks, lights, mudflaps).
•Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on our assets (tighten fittings, leak monitoring and install / replace minor tank devices).
•Yard maintenance and organization.
•Provide initial training to new employees and conduct regular training and coaching to all employees.
•Complete training in and comply with all Health, Safety and environment training.
•Know and understand DOT regulations and abide by these laws.
•Complete Health, Safety and Environment training / documents as required.
•Maintain above average safety score on safety platform.
•Ensure all documentation is uploaded in a timely fashion including fuel receipts, BOL’s and WHMIS/TDG documents. All trips must be attributed to employee DOT profile, no ‘unidentified trips’ in company mobile assets.
Qualifications:
Required (Must have):
•Valid Class 1 CDL (will consider Class 3 CDL).
•Valid Tanker and WHMIS/TDG endorsements.
•Must meet all current DOT requirements.
•Clean Drivers abstract with no more than 1 citation and 0 at-fault accidents within the last 3 years.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong computer skills.
•Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
•Must have good interpersonal skills and work both collaboratively and independently.
•Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol test.
•Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
Valued (Nice to have):
•Previous Cryogenic experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
•Off road oilfield hauling experience considered an asset.
