Civil/Structural Engineer 4 (Structural Design)

NOTE: This posting is for a full-time, remote position within the United States. Prior US Commercial Nuclear experience is a priority preference, but no required. Expertise with ANSYS is required.

POSITION SUMMARY: Applies technical knowledge, insight, reasoning, and decision making to perform civil structural analyses and design of Nuclear Safety-Related and Non-Safety-Related structures. Candidates should possess a strong design background and be proficient in structural concrete and steel analysis and design.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

CORE COMPETENCIES: To perform the job successfully, the individual should demonstrate competencies in performing the essential functions of this position by performing satisfactorily in each of these competencies.

MINIMUM SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES:

+ Design and analysis of structures, including concrete and steel, use of design software and finite element method analyses. + Working with the following codes preferred: ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 7, IBC, and AISC N690, Steel Construction Manual and Seismic Design Manual. + Use of ANSYS is required + LS-DYNA is preferred. + Computer programing skills (e.g. Matlab, or Python) is not required, but preferred.

Pay and Benefits:

The target pay range for this position is $121,630 - $146,795 annually. The full pay range is $109,048 - $170,562.
