Thomas & Hutton has an opening for a motivated and driven Civil Engineer – Water Resources/Stormwater in Columbia, SC.

The role of civil engineer – stormwater will be expected to successfully work within a group to prepare construction drawings, conduct engineering design for storm drainage infrastructure, and prepare permit applications associated with residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal projects. In this role, client interaction occurs regularly and excellent communication skills are required.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience: 4+ years design experience with land development and/or municipal capital improvement projects.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. EIT and PE Registration (or ability to become a PE within one year) strongly preferred.
