Certified Welder Fabricator / Welder Fitter

Overview

The Certified Welder/ Fitter is responsible for the placement of parts and components to construct an assembly.

Responsibilities & Duties

· Fabrication of product according to specification & drawing(s) to a tolerance that ensures acceptance & quality.

· Extensive knowledge of the standard methods, materials, and equipment used in the welding fabrication trades.

· Setting up and operating trade machinery such as welding machines, oxy-fuel cutting torches, performing lay-outs, coping, and grinding.

· Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and schematics

· Planning the sequence of tasks and deciding how to fit efficiently and accurately

· Utilizing material handling, rigging, hoisting, and lifting equipment to move completed assemblies safely

· Extremely detail oriented, strong problem-solving skills

· Performs related duties as required.

Work Experiences: 4 Years-5 Years

Remuneration is based on experience
