Job Description:
Tank wagon Fuel delivery drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of flammable hazardous materials. We strive to provide excellent service to our customers so our drivers must always maintain a courteous and professional manner when interacting with customers.
Job duties include but are not limited to:. Pre and Post trip inspections
. Ability to load truck compartments at loading racks and terminals.
. Safely deliver fuel to various locations which may include above and below ground fuel tanks, commercial generators, construction equipment, refrigeration units, trains, and other engines
. Follow FMCSA, State and DOT Safety regulations
. Maintain excellent written and verbal communication with our dispatching team.
. Ability to compute basic math calculations and ability to use a calculator
. Drive manual transmission equipped vehicles.
. Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, pull and push all shape and size hoses(30-pounds) and container packages
. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more with no assistance
. Ability to climb on top of truck to fuel lube vehicle.
. Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot situations that arise before and during a delivery or
Stressful situations
. Be on-call for emergency deliveries on a calendar schedule which could include major holidays.
Job Requirements: Requirements:
. Class A or B CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsement
. Must be able to drive a manual transmission
. Successfully pass a pre-employment and periodic random drug tests
. Successfully pass a pre-employment and periodic background checks
. Clean accident and driving record.
