About This Job

Parent Petroleum is seeking a CDL Class A drivers with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement. Responsible for delivering fuel and lubricant products locally. Home nightly, home weekends, home holidays. Competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Essential duties and responsibilities

•

Safely delivering bulk and packaged products in and around Chicago-land. This will include pulling hoses, flushing hoses and following quality control procedures during the time of delivery.

•

Ability to lift 50lbs

•

Completing DVIRs

•

Clearly communicating using an electronic dispatch module

•

Loading/unloading bulk products at our plant

•

Maintain a safe and clean workspace both in and out of the vehicle

•

Follow safety practices in line with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards

Qualification requirements

•

High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred

•

Commercial driving experience min 1 year (required).

•

Good communication, comprehension, organizational, time management mathematical skills

•

Dependable and reliable

•

Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement Required

•

Class A preferred

•

Ability to read labels, packing slips and other documents in English to effectively perform order fulfillment requirements

•

Ability to efficiently coordinate work with co-workers and take orders from superiors

•

Ability to pass drug test and background check
