CDL A Truck Driver

Southwark Metal Manufacturing Company is hiring a Class A CDL Driver to drive out of our facility in McCordsville, IN.

You may be a great fit for the role if you have 3-5 years of experience with Class A CDL Truck Driving and feel comfortable driving in all weather conditions.

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, home every weekend! - Pay: $25/hr with increases at 2 and 4 months to start. Guaranteed OT, total comp $85k+.

- Must have a valid Class A CDL

- HOME EVERY WEEKEND

The Class A CDL Driver will be responsible for the safe transport and delivery of product within our Indiana division territory which includes down into Illinois, Ohio, Michiagn, Wisconsin, Missouri (St Louis), Kentucky, West Virginia, Northwest New York. All loading done by material handlers, Drive assist at the customer(90% of the load is on skids or racks)! One or two overnight runs per week, but home on the weekends.

What you’ll be doing:

- Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck for pickup and delivery of products.

- Properly track and document activity log.

- Inspect truck and trailer before and after every trip to ensure safe operations.

- Report any issues or incidents immediately.

- Be the face of Southwark for customers.

What we need:

- Class A Commercial Driver’s License

- Clean Driving Record

- Experience in commercial truck driving

- Very safety oriented· ELD experience

- Strong work ethic – willing to do what it takes to satisfy the customer

- Ability to follow instructions, work independently or as part of a team, and manage time effectively

- Ability to drive in all weather conditions
