Position Summary
Supervises water distribution and wastewater collection crews to safely operate, maintain, and repair mains, services, valves, hydrants, manholes, and lift stations while meeting KPIs and regulatory requirements.
Location - Villages, FL.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule, dispatch, and supervise crews for leak repairs, main/service installs, valve/hydrant maintenance, sewer line cleaning, and emergency response.
- Ensure OSHA compliance including confined space, trenching/shoring, traffic control/MOT, LOTO, and PPE.
- Oversee CMMS work order management, asset PMs, and inventory; verify accurate documentation and closeout.
- Coordinate with customer service, engineering, contractors, and municipalities on outages and digs; issue notices and maps.
- Monitor KPIs (response time, backlog, water loss, SSOs, hydrant/valve turn rates) and implement improvements.
- Coach and evaluate crew leads; participate in hiring, onboarding, and skills development.- 7+ years in water/wastewater field operations with 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Proficient with CMMS, GIS, and work planning; strong safety leadership.
- CDL (Class A/B) preferred; ability to participate in rotating on call.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s in utility technology preferred.
- State Water Distribution and/or Wastewater Collection license strongly preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Field based role with frequent driving, outdoor work in varied weather, and exposure to traffic, confined spaces, biological/chemical hazards, and uneven terrain.
