CCTV/Sewer Camera Operator

SUMMARY OF POSITION: We use camera equipment to quickly and conveniently complete inspections from the street level of the customer’s site. These inspections are used to mark the sewer/storm utilities so that we can prevent damage during construction. It is our policy to provide and maintain safe and healthful working conditions for all employees and make a positive impact on the environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: (Based upon level of position, not all functions may apply)

· Providing useful and detailed reports

· Monitoring the location of all the equipment from above ground

· Providing customers with updated information

· Operating the remote-controlled sewer camera

· Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew

· Must ensure the proper use of personal safety equipment

· Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment

· Flexibility of working long hours and the ability to work in all types of weather conditions

· Maintain a clean job site and to pick up all tools and equipment and secure the job-site each day

· Other duties as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

- Must be detail oriented and can follow safety procedures close and maintain accurate records of the work performed

- Possess the aptitude to work with other and take instruction

- Demonstrate the skills needed to troubleshoot, quickly diagnose a situation, and choose the appropriate action needed to mitigate the situation

- The ability to perceive and discriminate colors or shades of colors, odors, sounds, depth, texture, and visual cues or signals.

- The ability to communicate orally.

LICENSURES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND REGISTRATIONS:

· Valid Georgia Driver’s Licenses

· Clean driving record

· NASSCP PACP Certification

· Confined Space Entry Certification (to be obtained prior to start date)

· OSHA 10 (to be obtained prior to start date)

PREFERRED QULAIFICATIONS:

· NASSCO MACP/LACP Certification (can be obtained at a later time)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

· Must be reliable and able to work in a team environment

· Excellent reading skills to understand and comprehend all construction warning signs

· Be able to work out of state for extended periods of time

· Great attention to safety

· Willing to travel

· Able to work in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to stand and perform strenuous tasks for hours at a time as well as meet physical demand requirements that are at levels of those for active work

· Must be able to perform physical labor as well as move or carry related objects or materials

· Must be physically able to operate a variety of job-related machines

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The environment in which the job is performed, especially any unique conditions outside a normal office environment:

· 100% field environment

· Travel between field office and various project sites as required

· Available for 24-hour on call services during a work shift as needed

SCHEDULE

· 8-hour shifts

· 10-hour shifts

JOB TYPES:

SUPPLEMENTAL PAY:

· Performance based bonus pay
