About This Job

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking dependable and customer-focused individuals to join our cafeteria services team within a healthcare facility. As a Cafeteria Service Associate, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food service in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and fluency in both English and French.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards

•

Maintain cleanliness and organization in all food preparation and service areas

•

Support daily operations including restocking supplies and assisting with opening and closing procedures

•

Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

•

Provide courteous and professional customer service to staff, patients, and visitors

•

Adhere to all workplace safety and sanitation regulations

•

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient cafeteria operations

Key Requirements:

Experience:

•

Previous experience in a cafeteria, institutional food service, or hospitality environment is considered an asset

•

Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced setting

Skills:

•

Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills

•

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

•

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

•

Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

Education:

•

High school diploma or equivalent required

•

Valid Food Handler Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Availability:

•

Availability required for morning shifts, approximately 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Language Requirement:

•

Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written) is mandatory

Other Requirements:

•

Must provide a valid and clear Criminal Record Check prior to employment
