Position Summary
Responsible for inspection, assembly, and testing of electric cable connectors.
Job Functions/ Duties (may be assigned other duties by management)
• Follow specific assembly instructions to meet company standards.
• Inspect and test all electric cable connectors.
• Measure and cut cable to length on cable-cutting machine.
• Bend cable around blocks and forms to shape it according to specification.
• Clamp cable in position, and follow task to complete an assembled product.
• Work effectively with all other personnel to optimize business opportunities.
• Comply with Levare Quality Assurance Policy and all requirements of the Quality Assurance Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
• Count and record quantities of material, supplies, and tools taken from yard.
• Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
• Personally observe safety and security procedures and proper use of equipment and material. Actively promote safety process and report any safety issues to proper channels for action.
Qualifications/Education Requirements
• Use and read basic measuring tools
• Ability to drive/operate loader and forklift
• Supervisory experience in maintenance work or remanufacturing work preferred
• Knowledge of and skills in mechanical problem diagnosis and repair work
• Knowledge of equipment types and components
• Prior experience in oil field related jobs desirable
• Knowledge of practices and procedures of the department.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of shop experience preferred
• Annual CPR / AED and Electrical Safety Training
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
• Continuously required to move about the facility
• Physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
• Work is mostly in non-climate controlled environment
• Continuous standing for long periods of time and capable of lifting 50 pounds from the floor to a table working height
• Occasional travel and on call required
• Exposure to shop and field elements such as noise, dust, odors and temperature variations
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and hearing protection, hard hat and safety shoes while in shop environment or on job site.
