POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the implementation and execution of the EWS analytics and business intelligence strategy. Individual will do this by working to create solutions that empower Evolution’s core operations to make data-driven decisions using new and existing information and technologies. This position will be responsible for aspects of the architecture, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of dashboards or other reporting tools as well as certain data capture platforms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "May." •Work to bring relevant data, analytics, and insights to our core business by leveraging reporting tools, dashboards, analytics etc.
•Work with EWS Operational Excellence Center, Field Engineers, Assets, and Operations teams to understand areas for improvement as it pertains to how data is being captured, reviewed, and used to improve and expedite decision making
+ This may also include designing and creating the platform on which to capture this data in an enterprise manner
•Design, build, and implement tailored dashboards for internal and/or external use
•Be continuously flexible, able to work in multiple different technology stacks or wear many different technical “hats” on any given day
•Work with a multi-disciplined team to gather requirements for current and future technology projects
•Understand EWS’s current technology stack and identify ways in which we can bring data, insights, and information closer to our decision points
+ Execute on this strategy via business intelligence processes
•Work with EWS customers to understand their data needs and help identify ways to meet them
•Stay abreast of current or latest data management and analytics technologies or practices and determine if they can or should be implemented at EWS
•Facilitate, manage, and build reports on data captured from field equipment & real-time data sensors
•Assist with the continuous development and implementation of Evolution’s overall data strategy
•Educate current and potential stakeholders on EWS technology
•Be an internal and external advocate for Evolution’s digital culture
•Will be required to engage with various technology vendors and partners
•Will be required to travel on occasion for discussions with stakeholders
•Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
•Successfully passes background check, pre-employment drug screening, and any pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
•Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
•BA/BS Undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field
•Minimum 3-5+ years’ experience in a technology/data-driven organization in a data and/or analytics-heavy role
•Experience in one or more of the following (or similar) roles
+ Business Intelligence
+ Data Analysis and Visualization
+ Data Management
+ Systems Analysis
+ Business Analysis
+ Real Time Data Analysis, Acquisition, and/or SCADA

•Databases (Required, Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Preferred)

•Advanced data visualization skills and ability to create complex data models/dashboards/reports

•Highly detail oriented and strong work ethic with the ability take initiative, prioritize tasks, and execute on Evolution’s Data Strategy without continuous direction
•Ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously
•Highly proficient in capturing, understanding, interpreting, and analyzing data sets
•Ability to communicate effectively
•Ability to accurately and effectively explain complex technical principles to business users

Frequently required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach and squat/kneel. The Business Intelligence Developer works primarily indoors and will be sitting prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. The Business Intelligence Developer may be required to lift heavy objects; therefore, the Business Intelligence Developer must be able to lift 25lbs.

Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination depending on job demands.
