About This Job

The Business Intelligence Developer is part of the Business Intelligence team and supports all financial and operational data development functions for the company.


Duties and Responsibilities

- Primary responsibilities will surround the design and build of PowerBI, and QlikSense/QlikView applications and reports.

- Maintenance, support and creation of MS Fabric Pipelines, Lakehouses and Notebooks

- Enhance, manage, create, update, and maintain current and new reports.

- Work to migrate current analytics into Qlik and Power BI solutions including design and development

- Assist in providing solutions for process improvement and/or automation

- Assist in the development processes and procedures for new products and service offerings to internal customers through data visualization, storytelling, and interactive tool creation.

- Review and update system documentation and procedures

- Provide user training, support, and feedback Research client issues and work cross functionally to resolve

- Ensure appropriate report distribution and issue escalation and resolution

- Participate in special projects, analysis and ad-hoc tasks as required by management


Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Experience with the design and development of MS Fabric/Power BI, QlikView, or QlikSense

- applications preferred. (Similar tools experience considered, i.e. Tableau, SQL, etc.)

- Strong analytical skills with a priority on data quality and accuracy, as well as the ability to work independently and part of a team.

- Strong and clear communication with stakeholders in all areas of the business required.

- Understanding of the ETL process and how it impacts the BI Development flows.

- Understanding or the ability to gain strong knowledge of various business processes (AR, AP,

- Inventory, General Ledger, Logistics, Procurement, etc.) and the integration between the systems in use

- Build and maintain user-friendly, interactive reports and dashboards using BI tools to present complex data in an easily understandable visual format.

- Ability to create process documentation and procedures with standard templates

- Ability to plan, organize, manage, and track multiple projects with constantly changing priorities, experience using Jira a plus.

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, formulas, look-ups

- Experience writing VBA code a plus

- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and pivot to other projects quickly.

- Ability to provide excellent customer service to our business stakeholders, including both interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to be a positive representative of the Company both internally and externally.

- Ability to work with respect and cooperation at all times with fellow employees and customers.

- Must be committed to working safely at all times.


Experience/Education:

- Bachelor's Degrees required

- Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related technical field. Some exposure to BusinessAccounting courses preferred

- MS Fabric, Power BI, QlikView and/ or QlikSense knowledge preferred

- Experience with consolidation of large data sets from various systems

- Experience with data visualization tools to enhance data interpretation.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in office environment.


Travel:


Minimal Travel required.
