Business Development Representative – Oil & Gas (Frac Services)

The Business Development Representative supports the company’s growth within the oil and gas industry by identifying and qualifying new opportunities with Tier 1 major operators. This entry-level role is designed for highly motivated individuals who want to build a career in energy services, with a focus on hydraulic fracturing. The position emphasizes relationship development, lead generation, and supporting senior commercial leaders in securing long-term partnerships with top operators. The role provides a foundation for both commercial and technical growth, offering exposure to client strategy, frac operations, and business negotiations in one of the most competitive sectors of the energy industry.

Essential Responsibilities

- Research and identify potential Tier 1 operators and decision-makers within target basins.

- Prospect and qualify new leads through calls, emails, networking, industry events, and professional platforms.

- Assist in scheduling and coordinating introductory meetings between prospective clients and senior commercial leaders.

- Support the sales cycle by preparing presentations, proposals, and client follow-up communications.

- Track and maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, and client interactions within CRM systems.

- Collaborate with the commercial and operations teams to align business development strategies with customer needs.

- Represent the company in a professional manner at conferences, trade shows, and customer visits.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Degrees in Business, Marketing, Petroleum Engineering, or other technical/related fields are considered highly beneficial.

- Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal.
